Cake Decorating Ideas Easy

In our current society, the cakes are dear to observe almost all occasions. Decorating ideas for a cake can be seen almost everywhere, if you know where to look Yet, it is not always easy to know how to decorate a cake. Fortunately, there is a wide variety of cake pans and items that will help with make decorating easy.

You really don't need a special occasion to decorate a cake, but some events that can be made even more special and memorable with a decorated are holidays, birthdays, graduations, religious events, showers, weddings and other special events.

Here are some ideas for decorating a cake that will help you make every special occasion:

New Year's Champagne Toast

Bake a 9-in. roundabout and a 9 x 12-in. rectangle cake.

Cut everything in half. Use one half to the top of the glass of champagne.

Cut a 2 or 3 inch tape along to the stem of the glass and a 2 x 4 inch section to the base of the glass. Play together to form the glass of champagne. To make sure that all the pieces together, lightly Frost each piece separately, before putting together.

Place the pieces on a Board. Ice the top (straight edge) of semi-all cake and stem and base white icing into sections. Ice the bottom (rounded edge) of the round cake in icing light yellow or pale pink to resemble champagne.

Easter Egg Hunt (so easy the kids can do it!)

Cook 6 large muffins. Cool and frost with green frosting. Sprinkle generously green * grated coconut on top of the frosting to resemble grass. Place colored jellies inside the coconut so they're semi-concealed. Place small rabbit toppers on top of muffins so they appear as if they were looking for the jellies.

* Dyeing grated coconut, coconut in a plastic bag. Add a few drops of food coloring. Mix in coconut color. Dry on parchment paper.

Spooky Halloween Brownies (let the children help!)

Bake your favorite brownies. Once cooled, cut into 3-inch circles, using a cookie cutter or a sharp knife and model. Place a stencil Halloween (available in most grocery stores) in the center of each brownie. Sprinkle with cake stencil (powdered) sugar. Remove the stencil. Tilt the upper part and the lower part of brownie with tip 14 stars white frosting.

Shiny Christmas ornament

Bake a one or two-layer round cake. Ice cake smooth with white icing. Pipe Tip 5 ice white lines at the top at 1 inch intervals. Vary the forms of lines, producing a line, a zigzag, curves, etc. to look like decorations on an ornament. Randomly pipe Tip 5 ball icing and tip 16 stars between the lines even to look like decorations.

Let Me Call You Sweetheart

Bake a cake in the shape of a heart and a heart-shaped cake. Ice cake smooth with largest pink frosting. Place the mini-cake in the center of the pie bigger. Cover mini cake in red icing tip 16 stars. Add a bit of Red 14 shell border on bottom of icing cake mini and a 16 bit red shell edge ice formation at the top and at the bottom of the large cake. Write your message in pink with Tip 3 on the mini-cake.

Rainbow Train

Four mini-cakes bake loaf. (About 3-1/2 x 4-1/2 inch each.)

Ice smooth each one with red frosting, blue frosting, with one green and one with icing with yellow frosting. Use the cake Iced in red as the engine: use a chimney to the motor with 2 large marshmallows. Frost with green icing. Attach marshmallow on top with a toothpick. Using green icing, attach a piece of White Ribbon curls or candies on top of chimney smoke and secure two white or yellow gum drops toward the front of the engine for the headlights. With a spatula, place a small mound of yellow icing on top of the yellow machine, add small chocolate to look like coal. Insert two or three small cars made of plastic on top of the machine. Stick stick small candies, such as licorice pieces on top of the green machine to look like metal parts. Decorate the sides of cars with various small hard candies for decorations. For wheels: with same color icing, attach candy discs 4 large, like mint, swirls at the bottom of each car. Connect the cars with one inch licorice whips or pretzel sticks.

Ups! Ups! And Away

Cooking two each: Tulip, flower, butterfly and Dragonfly biscuits (eight in total) and a 9 x 12-in. rectangle cake. Ice cookies smooth in a variety of pastel colors with Royal icing. * Decorate frosted cookie with Tip 3 dots Butterfly colored glaze.

Ice the bottom half of the 9 x 12-in. cake with the frosting green and smooth the top with light blue frosting smooth to look like grass and the sky. Place two small mounds of white icing on half blue for the clouds. Pat down "the clouds," with finger dipped in cornstarch. Place the Tulip flowers and cookies in the "grass" and recommended tube 3 green stems and leaves if necessary. Place the butterfly near the cookie a cookie flower and Butterfly cookie other ei biscuits dragonfly in "Heaven". Write your message on the cake with white icing Tip 3.

Royal Icing Recipe **

2 cups icing sugar sifted

2 scant tablespoons meringue powder

3 tbsp water

Beat all ingredients at low speed until icing forms peaks.

(Makes about 1-1/2 cups)
